"Push Pinhole Show", 1995 - 2009

Cora Stafford Gallery, University of North Texas, Denton, TX

I created the first "Push Pinhole Show" in 1995 to showcase the creativity and energy of my talented Photography 1 students. We displayed cameras, paper negatives and positives throughout the entire Cora Stafford Gallery. The show has since become a semi-annual tradition and draws viewers from across campus and the wider community. Cameras range from small to large to multi-holed, constructed from a variety of boxes and containers - anything that can be made light-tight. Imagery spans every category and genre of photography, including landscape, portraiture, still life, the figure, abstract light patterns, dreams, fantasy, and politics. This exhibition never fails to surprise and amaze.
